This free adventure is fun for all ages. Gardner Village is transformed with humorous witch displays all over the shops, creating an enchanting experience. With activities like hayrides, train rides, a corn pit, and one of the best corn mazes around, Cross E Ranch is a must-visit for fall. Their apple cider donuts are a delicious treat! The Fall Festival runs from September through October.

For a classy twist on Halloween fun, don’t miss the Witches Tea at The Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City. This elegant event features a spooky-themed high tea complete with decadent pastries, finger sandwiches, and a variety of gourmet teas. The beautiful lobby is transformed with whimsical Halloween décor, and guests are encouraged to dress in their finest witch costumes for a magical afternoon. It’s a perfect outing for friends, family, or even a mother-daughter day. The Witches Tea runs on select dates in October, and reservations are highly recommended due to its popularity.

Hosted at Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, this interactive experience transforms the aquarium into a spooky adventure. Expect carnival games, spook alleys, and pumpkin smashing! The event runs Fridays through Mondays in October.

This affordable pumpkin patch offers wagon rides, a corn pit, big slides, corn mazes, and farm animals. Jaker’s is open from September through October, and is a favorite stop for families every year.

Kuwahara’s offers a thrilling Halloween village with character actors, a large pumpkin patch with photo ops, nightly concerts, bounce houses, a corn maze, and so much more! We had a blast at the Thriller Park and highly recommend it for some family-friendly fun.

Taking place in the Ashton Gardens, this event features creative scarecrows made by local families and businesses. You can vote for your favorite while exploring the beautiful gardens. Free for Thanksgiving Point members, but there’s a fee for non-members. This event runs mid October.

Known for its variety of activities for young children, Hee Haw Farms also offers sports activities for older kids, a petting zoo, and many fun fall traditions. It’s open from end of September through beginning of November.

Rowley’s Red Barn Fall Festival at “The Back Forty” has grown, now featuring a large corn maze and apple cannons. Don’t miss their famous wagon rides, big slide, and treats from the barn store! The festival runs from September through October.

This farm is set up like a carnival with rides, a corn maze, wagon rides, and fun photo ops. They are open every day except Sunday, from September through November. You can download a map online for hints on how to solve the corn maze.

Wilkersons Farm Best Kept Secrets

A family favorite, Glen Ray’s Corn Maze offers hours of entertainment with corn fairies to search for, big slides, tractor rides, and a special area for smaller children. The maze runs from September through October.

A newer fall festival, Gordo’s Fun Farm offers activities for kids of all ages, including slides, barrel rides, corn hole, and rubber band guns. Admission is only $8 per person, and it runs from September through October.

Hosted by Clas Ropes, this Halloween cruise takes you along the Provo River where you’ll encounter hundreds of jack-o-lanterns, spooky stories, and a pirate attack. This unique fall experience runs from the end of September through end of October.

Halloween Light Displays: Lehi

Lehi is home to several Halloween light displays within a mile of each other. Load up the car for a night of spooktacular lights, and enjoy the creative displays!

A horse drawn wagon pulled by Percheron or Belgian drafts will lead the way with our finest cowboys or cowgirls at the helm. The ride will be approx. 15-20 minutes long, but some horses may walk a little faster or slower. This is a family-friendly activity appropriate for all ages.

Sleepy Hollow Wagon Ride

This family-friendly train ride takes you on a 40-minute journey with karaoke, dancing, and spooky fun! You even get a cookie and pumpkin for riding. The train runs on Saturdays in October.

Scary Hill is a family-friendly Halloween adventure featuring miniature golf, a maze, and a wagon ride through “The Boneyard.” Enjoy skeletons dressed as pop culture characters while riding through this fun event, open during October.

Explore the Halloween-themed displays throughout Red Butte Gardens. This family-friendly event is full of whimsical Halloween decorations, from spiders to witches, running from mid to end of October.

Christmas in Color turns their light display spooky with a Halloween-themed drive-through experience. Enjoy giant blow-ups, lights synced to music, and a fun family atmosphere during the month of October.

Spooky Light Show Utah

Pick your own apples at Rowley’s Red Barn, with harvest season lasting from late August through October. After picking, stop by the barn store for delicious apple treats like cider, slushes, and pies.

Get cozy by creating your own custom fall-scented candle at The Wick Lab. Choose from a range of autumn-inspired fragrances and craft a personalized candle for a memorable experience.

Visit Pumpkin Nights at the Utah State Fairpark for a magical walkthrough of themed pumpkin lands like the Enchanted Forest and Pirate Cove. The event runs from September through October, with pumpkin carving demos, food, and entertainment.

One of Utah’s most famous fall festivals, Cornbelly’s offers a huge corn maze, hayrides, giant slides, and over 50 attractions. It’s open from September through November 2, at Thanksgiving Point.

For thrill-seekers, the Haunted Forest in American Fork is one of Utah’s scariest haunted attractions. It’s a spooky walk through the woods, with plenty of jump scares and eerie creatures!

Catch a performance of the Odyssey Dance Theatre’s “Thriller,” a Halloween-themed dance show filled with humor, pop culture, and spooky fun. Shows are held at various venues across Utah from late September through October.

Take part in Moab’s quirky Pumpkin Chuckin’ Festival, where pumpkins are launched via catapults and trebuchets. The event also features games, vendors, and contests on October 26, 2024.

Enjoy a breathtaking full moon lift ride at Sundance Mountain Resort, offering stunning views of the fall foliage and Mount Timpanogos. Rides are available on select nights in October.
